the story behind the characters.

Except from the first name Arlo and the surnames Twittle and Snivers, every other character name is real. It took a fair bit of searching, and to start with, I only had the first names listed (apart from the first three).

They changed a few times over the initial pick, mainly the surnames though. I still wanted to follow the theme of the alphabet, but I thought naming them with both the same letter would be a little over the top. So I mixed them up. Hence, you will still see each first name in alphabetical order, but not the surnames. Does that make sense?

Well, that’s enough explaining, it’s beginning to sound like a broken record!

  1. Don’t worry about overdoing any explanations. I like the alphabetic first names idea. Not only does it work in a creative sense, it will help you as the series unfolds, with regard to remembering individuals – all 26 of them.

    • I have them written in a notepad and as a spreadsheet on my laptop. So if I lose one, at least I’ll have the other!
